V-Day and 3 months

So these are pretty much the same days for Adie, but I thought it would be fun to take pictures anyway. Valentines Day was fun as it was on a Saturday and Eric and I got to spend the whole day together. In the morning I convinced Eric to go mall walking with me and the kids. We did and then got a peanut butter cup blizzard on our way out. (I know, totally defeats the exercise. But it was Eric's reward) Then as we were getting diapers at Wal-Mart, Eric picked out tulips in a pot for me so that I can put them in my garden. I thought that was a great idea. He also got me a rose just because which is this beautiful pinky peach color. Wow! We then ended our day by putting the kids to bed, making dinner together and eating it by candle light and watching a movie. It was fun, but we didn't get to eat until about 9pm. A little too late to do dessert afterwards. So we did our chocolate fondue on Sunday, and Porter just wanted to eat the chocolate without the fruit.

We also got these really cool valentines day cards from my cousin Kendall. Thanks, we really enjoyed them. Of course I did Adie's, but Porter picked out the pieces and I stuck them on. Then he also had to have one on his hand which suprisingly stayed there for half the day.

Then Adie turned three months. I think that she probably weighs in at around 14 lbs or so. She is getting to be quite the chunk. She loves to watch her brother play around her, but is terrified if she is on the floor when he is around. She is a very smiley baby and smiles at anyone who will smile at her. She props herself up good on her elbows for tummy time and is working on grabbing the toys in front of her. She can hit them but then they are out of her reach and she gets frustrated. She has found her hands and her tounge and likes to use both all the time. She also loves to sit up and would rather sit and stand than lay anytime.

Miracle Cleaners

I wish that I had a before and after picture for this but I don't. I guess that would kind of make it look like an infomercial.

But I just wanted to express gratitude to whoever invented OxiClean. It is a complete and total lifesaver to baby clothes. Adie has started the stage of blow outs and has them now on a regular basis. Thanks to OxiClean, none of her clothes are stained. It is a miracle with how bad the blow outs are. All I have to do is soak them in OxiClean for a little while and *bing* they are bright white again (or whatever color they are supposed to be). So if you are ever in doubt about how to get stains out of clothes (or carpet for that matter), get yourself some OxiClean and follow the directions on the back. It really is a miracle cleaner.

More fun with two

Can you say cute?

This is the fun part about having two kids instead of just one.

I can't believe how much she wants to sit up already. Maybe it is to escape her brother.
