Life on the Farm

Eric's family lives on what they call "the farm". To me it is not what I think a farm is as it is only on one acre of land. But boy howdy, they definitely grow their crops. They have all kinds of fruit trees and a fairly big vegetable garden. Then they also have four horses, four pigs, a dog, about 8 chickens, lots of cats, a duck, and a barn.

Porter loves being here as he gets to go outside a lot and play with the animals and feed the horses, jump on the trampoline and play basketball with dad and uncle Carl. Which is actually nice for mom because grandma and grandpa take him outside when I have really bad allergies and it would just be miserable for me to go and sit outside for a while.

Anyway, here are some pictures of his favorite things to do around the farm.

The Fruits of our Labors

Well, our trip to Buffalo was a short and busy one. We had a lot of fun and got to eat at "Local" restaurants. (Kind of like Big Jud's in Rexburg) We also got to celebrate our two year anniversary without a baby to take care of. It was a lot of fun and we went up to Niagara Falls. Unfortunately, we didn't have our camera so no pictures, but then we ate at the restaurant that started buffalo wings. It was so good, and you could get them any spicyness you want from BBQ and mild to suicidal. Needless to say we got the mild and they were still kind of hot.

We also saw 22 homes in the two days we were there. We left at 9 am (which is 7am our time, when we usually get up) and didn't get home until after 5-6pm. Long days but it ended up being also very fruitfull. We got a house and I love it. Here are some pictures so that you can think that it is as cute as I do.
